Take it slow, you know your body, but 90 days of inactivity will set you back greatly in your PT.

Talk to your DR., ask him about working out, lightly, for a couple weeks to test out your patch, after that, if you're GTG, start hitting it brother, you can easlily get back to 100% within a few months, it'll still hurt, but that's something you better get used to anyway if you want Regiment.

Rangers, and update on my medical status, I have seen a specialist, and my surgery date is the Thirtieth of September. Also, while MEPS will not process me until ninety days following my surgery, I was told that after two weeks i can resume light jogging, and after a month I can resume normal physical activity. Thank you for your time.

OK, now you have a baseline to work from. You will find a number of programs listed in threads. The search feature is your friend. About two weeks post-operation is a good time to start. Begin very slowly and expect to have some pain. You have enough time if you manage it properly.

Do not over-train too soon
I'm not going to give you any advice on when or how much to train, but I will ask you to follow your Doctors advice and use your own common sense.

Best of luck to you on the other side, you are going to feel like shit tomorrow! 8)

Hello Rangers, Sit rep time again.
I have/had a three inch incision, but it almost gone. I'm supposed to leave the little stick strips on until they fall off. I don't really feel much pain anymore, but in the beginning it hurt a lot worse than anything I'd felt before, especially when i had a coughing fit the first night. I was able to stop taking the pain medication after noon the second day because i wanted to go through this with a clear head. The only discomfort i feel is slight tugging when I stand or twist too fast, the doctor said this will continue until the patch fully sets into my abdomen wall. I can resume PT Tuesday after the next. Thanks for your time and advice, in time i will prove it did not fall on deaf ears.

P.S. I'm am so Moto right now, because this was my last hurtle before enlisting, if I could do push ups, my arms would be dead right now.

Good for you.

Take your time and follow your Doctors advice. Don't push it until he gives you the go.

Hello Rangers. I can PT! Starting slow, yesterday I did 50 sit ups and push ups in 25 rep increments, and I ran about a mile. I was surprised to find myself puking on the run. Which tells me I've got farther to go than I thought. Thank you.
