Cheap Books!

Post by wade_the_duck »

They have a pretty good assortment of military related books, and a decent assortment of other books as well, AND their prices beat even the Barnes and Noble's bargain bin, especially for shopworn volumes (once got a $22 shopworn book on the SAS for $1.25, and it was in great condition). They manage to sell so cheap by buying from publishers who want to dump their unsold stocks, which can yield some pretty good bargains even for hardcovers.

The local library has the best selection and in exchange agreements with other libraries, you can just about any book ever published. Your tax dollars pay for it. When you buy a book, and after you read it, it does noting but collect dust and take up space. Most libraries now allow you to reserve a book on-line.
