introduction

Post by john »

Hello, Rangers.

My name is Ovidiu (in Romanian), but you can call me John, because is easier. I'm a 1st LT in the Romanian Army (Mountain Troops) and I always wanted to become a Ranger. So, this year in January I think, a way for fulfilling my dream opened. I requested to attend the Ranger Course in 2009 at Fort Benning. But, in order to do that, I have to pass the PT test and the English language test, which are going to be in October this year. So, I work hard almost every day and I'm trying to perfect my English.

I will try not to bother you, Rangers with questions that have already been posted and answered, but if I do, please don't be mad on me. Anyway, thank you Rangers for your future help, and ... RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!!!

Thank you Rangers for responding.
Good to know that Ranger Ranger Bill.
I've already read the Ranger Handbook once, Ranger Jim. I have one. Thank you for the tip, anyway.

You know Marius Ion?

He and I went through RIP together and were assigned to the same platoon.

You want to see someone appreciate this country, serve with a kid who was a first generation American. His parents migrated here from Romania.

Absolute fucking Stud at about 5'4". Sadly, liquor would be his downfall back when Hunter was a closed post.

No, Ranger RangerJurena. Unfortunately I don't know Marius Ion. Is he an American now? In Romania I believe we have only 8-10 Rangers, so I will ask about him.

No, Ranger rgrpuck, I haven't served in Afghanistan, yet. My unit did that last year, but I couldn't go because I got married, and my wife said that if I go to Afghanistan, she won't marry me ever. But I'm an officer for only 3 years, so I have a long way ahead to serve my country in the Operations Theaters.
