Introduction...

Post by Kiddo »

Hello everyone,

My name is Barrett xxxx. I am 16 years of age and I am going to be a junior in highschool. I currently reside in Germany.

I joined this site while looking for information on my father, David xxx. He was a Ranger, but he sadly passed away in Colorado before I was born.

Unfortunately, his rank and other information are still unkown to me.

Well, ya'll seem like some very nice people and I look forward to speaking more with you.

Thans a bunch,

Barrett

Wow, that come out... Well, not as good as I would have liked it to. Here is some more info on me.

I was born in Washington State, where I lived in Spokane for 2 years before moving to California. I stayed in San Diego for around 2 years and then ended up going to Palm Springs where I lived for 4 years. I then moved back to San Diego for another year, we then made the decision to move to Germany, where my Grandma was residing.

I spent around 2 or 3 years moving back and forth between Germany, Palm Springs, Mountlake Terrace in Washington, and Quitman Texas. I currently reside in Germany, where I will be graduating.

I have lived with my Grandparents (Mother's side) for most of my life. My mother was a single parent after the death of my father on October 3rd, 1991. She wanted me to have the benefit of two parents at a young age, and we keep in touch constantly.

I actually grew up in a non-military family, but I still moved around like one, so I believe I almost got the full experience.

Afer school, I am hoping to get in to two diferent colleges. SFASU, which is lovated in Texas, and VCU, which is located in Virginia. I plean to double-major in Theatre Performance and Culinary arts. I also plan to stay in school for 6 years to get a masters in both of my majors.

After college, I am moving to New York, where I will stay with a relative until I get enough money to live comfortably for at least a year on my own. I plan to get a job at a restaurant working as a chef. During this time, I will be auditioning for every show I can, hopefully making a name for myself. I hope to be on Broadway within the next 15-20 years.

After I have made a good living, I plan on opening a restaurant in New York. Probably an American-Italian place. I will be owner (maybe part-owener if I can find a good partner) and also head-chef.

Wow, extremely bad grammatical errors... Which means bad proof reading for me. If any Moderator reads this, would you please edit my post?

It should be After* not Afer

And Instead of "I am hoping to get in to two diferent colleges..."

It should be "I am hoping to get into one of two different colleges..."

I apologize for eall this, it is late here and I am tired but anxious to meet everyone here...

Slow down, take a breath and please immediatly ask the Mods on the site to change your name as no one other than Rangers can have "Ranger" as part of their name on this site.

Someone will be along shortly to police you up.

Won't happen, we do not delete posts from the intro area. This is why there is no edit function here. Learn to use the preview button (instead of submit) many times until you get it right.

I changed your name to Kiddo just as Ranger Charlie 51 explained. I also deleted your avatar. You can pick an avatar only from DEP selection.

Welcome.

Alright then, thank you both.
I will do so immediately.

Oh and, if anyone has any other questions, like what my hobbies are or what shows I have been in, just ask. :)

Because you are young and impressionable I will be courteous in my own house.

When addressing Rangers on this board please preface their name with the title Ranger before it.

I would like to say something if I may...

First of all, for those who welcomed me, thank you. Secondly, I would like to apologize for disrespecting anyone here. I am extremely excited to be talking with all of you, it gives me hope that I might find some information on my father. Unfortunately, I sometimes give horrible first impressions, and it has not gotten me very far in some of the schools I was in.

My Mom and Grandparents say I am very mature for my age, but for some reason people still get the picture I am a kid, and I would like to change that if I can.

So once again I apologize. I hope that you can all forgive me.
