Rangers,
I have Paliteal Artery Entrapment Syndrome, where my calf muscles are compressing the paliteal artery. I will be getting it fixed with surgery in the coming months. I also developed anterior compartment syndrome since, probably related to the PAES, and had that corrected with surgery in June. After not seeing either of my leg conditions in the list of medical disqualifications, I assume that I won't have to get a waiver for them as long as I have letters of clearance from my surgeons. Am I correct about not having to get waivers for my legs? If not, will it be possible to obtain an Option 40 with these waivers?

Ranger Tater Nuts, having PAES and compartment syndrome isn't just painful, it literally becomes impossible to run. Your lower legs aren't getting any blow flow because of the trapped artery, and your shin muscle is too big for the layer of skin surrounding it, meaning that there is a ridiculous amount of pressure. A normal person has around 20 mmHG of pressure in their compartments while they run, I had over 100 mmHG in each leg.

When I was younger I too had a muscle that seemed to be too big for the skin surrounding it, sometimes the pressure would increase causing difficulties in running as well, it seemed as if no blood was getting anywhere else, I used to slap it with a dictionary repeatedly while thinking of Mother Teresa, perhaps you could try this sometime.
