Introduction

Post by Vik »

Greetings Rangers.

I am a veteran of the US Navy, 5 years active duty (84-89), working on and flying in the nearly retired S-3 Viking. I deployed on the USS America and USS Theodore Roosevelt.

My son introduced me to your website as he has researched about becoming a ranger.

Thank you all for your service to our country!

BTW, don't forget we ask that you capitalize the word "Ranger" here, just as we would the word "Navy" out of respect...

Welcome to ArmyRanger.com!

One of the thrills of my life was doing an arrested landing and cat shot off the Theodore Roosevelt in a C2 back in '94. What a kick!

If it makes you feel better I called a bunch of CAS from an S-3 Viking, not bad for platform that had to go all but inverted to see the target! Oh one more thing. Welcome!
