This is in response to Bush trying to lower restrictions to off shore oil drilling:

That was the first place I thought of. sure they have 47Â¢ gas, but they live in a third world shit hole as a trade off.

US average annual income: $45,000. In Venezuela: $3,500.

It means that even at $4 per gallon, as a percent of income, we pay less for gas than they do.

You are correct. Google says Venezuela gas prices are 12 to 15 cents a gallon, so my figuring is off. But we're still way better off paying $4.00 a gallon and having an average income more than 10 times higher.

The Dems want nothing more than to push this agenda, then the government can take can of everyone and we can all be equally poor and needy. Except of course for those that know better and they will make all our decisions for us, sort of like our buddy Al.
