Global warming my ass. Al Gore needs to turn back in his Nobel prize....
I'm only 6 hours North of you, and our weather here has been bizarre. We've had a few days of high 80's, low 90's, immediately followed by 30's and 40's coupled with snow, sleet and freezing rain.

Last few days have been in the 60's, but record rain fall with more than 1 inch falling each day coupled with +60mph winds. WTF?

Down where we had hoped to go camping, there's still 31" of snow on the mountain and that area may not be passable until late July or mid-August.

I'm sure glad you're getting good weather, because we're getting pounded.

In one weekend, I got sunburned and snowed on! :?

Sounds good to me. I might even be willing to come down to Vegas again. I have a nephew (with wife, baby and one in the oven) that may need visiting relatively soon. Also, I understand there's an awesome car show underway in Vegas this weekend.

I think planning is in order! :D

Airports suck. Delays suck. I'm so sick of traveling I could suck-start a gun.

(okay, that last part is an over-dramatization...but I had kind of a theme going)

Oh, and I almost forgot...

Depeche Mode sucks.

Sorry Ranger Scuba Wino, Ranger Puck made me do it 8)

Dang! Evidently you haven't been to any of the larger urban centers of the great northlands. Or out west.

Many years ago, on the government's dime, I had a choice to go to Las Vegas or Los Angeles. I decided to go to LA, since visions of Baywatch and string bikinis danced in my head. I went to Venice beach. Unfortunately there were no Pamela Anderson's romping through the beach in slow motion. There were large, pasty faced tourist women, who should be outlawed from showing any flesh at all. There were strange unwashed hippie like creatures. There were groups of teenagers who all looked like Edward Scissorhands... lots of black, lots of eyeliner, lots of attitude.

I'll take Virginia beach over that any day

If you're a cowboy and you're dragging a guy behind your horse, I bet it would really make you mad if you looked back and the guy was reading a magazine.
