Thanks Lawdog, everythign you said made perfect sense, though it still hurts like hell,
Rangering is my dream, Lawdog. I have every intention of going into the Army, 11x with opt 40. After I do my time there (hopefully make a career out of it), and retire from the service, Police work is my second goal. I've got a cousin whos a police officer, and he and his father (a police officer killed in action in Jax Fla about 2 years ago) got me hooked on being a Police officer. I just wish that Rangers could be MP's, would make the second goal easier to obtain, lol.

Go with your dream. Make it happen. Only you have the ability to do what you truly want in life. I wish you the best of luck and am proud and honored that someone of your character will be with the finest fighting men in the world. Best of luck. But heal up first for Christ's sake. I don't want Ranger H8train smoking you because you didn't heal and couldn't do what you needed. Not that I'm against a good smoking.Lotus Lips wrote:Thanks Lawdog, everythign you said made perfect sense, though it still hurts like hell,

Don't fight it- just let it happen. I know it goes against everything males (in general) are taught, but it IS ok for guys to grieve- and part of grief is crying. :D good luck- and if you ever want to vent or need to get something off your chest you can IM (yahoo) me or PM me.Lotus Lips wrote:Roger that Ranger Saltbitch. Trust me...the grieving is setting in, as much as im trying to fight it.

Don't let it get you down. Shit happens and it sucks. You just gotta let it go. You where under extreme stress and did the best you could in a shitty situation. I don't know of anyone in your situation including myself that would have looked on the floor in the back seat for a 7 year old. You did good bud drive on and get better.

Doc, in refrence to your questions.
Yes, it was in OKC. If your familiar with the area, it was on 59th and Harvey, just between Santafe/Shields on 59th street.
I was transfered to TAFB after a brief stay at some small place off Penn and 89th, due to the fact were military and dad only trusts military docs.
There was a fire truck there, blocking traffic. They were the first on scene, followed shortly by OKCPD. Then 2 EMSA's got there. So I'm not sure which you would consider as to the ones taking care of everyone.

I take it back. So this guy made it all up? Seems this guy has been through a lot of traumatic episodes lately. In attempting to find some closure for our boy Lips (like some scientific evidence that the young girl was dead before Lips ever got to her vehicle...thus, it wouldn't be his fault), Doc tried to track down the report(s) from the accident. He did this, believe it or not, with Lips' approval. Oddly, there is no record of a 5-vehicle fatality accident involving Lips (Doc used Lips' real name, of course). That's right....no fire dept. record, no EMS record...no wrecker record (we even had the wrecker company name)...no obituary record of the girl....no hospital records....no police file.......NADA! He ran a search by names, by location, by date/ time, by vehicle (all five of them), by injury, and by responding agencies
