Rangers,
I have not posted in a while and just wanted to provide an update on my quest to become a Ranger.
I am in the midst of the enlistment process and am taking the ASVAB tommorrow afternoon.
I have told my recruiters that I will not sign anything but a Ranger contract, and they said they could make it happen.
They initially asked me if I would settle for something else with the possibilty of volunteering for RIP later on...but thanks to you all and this site, I already knew what my answer would be...
0pt. 40 or nothing.
Once they saw how dedicated and serious I was, they made some calls and put the wheels in motion.
I'm lucky to have some top notch recruiters working with me to get that contract.
After I knock out the ASVAB, I'll head down to MEPS on Tuesday the 29th and get through that hurdle.
I'll post another sitrep tommorrow after the ASVAB.
Now back to studying...

Just got back from testing and am proud to report that my first objective was completed. I got a 90 AFQT and 121 GT score.
The next step is to secure my contract and head down to MEPS on Tuesday.
Ranger RTO, I will stay true to those two words. It is an attitude that will carry me to my objective and one that is applicable to all aspects of life and I intend to live by it.
