Introduction

Post by hismom »

I realized that I intially posted this in the wrong forum. I'll try again.

Hello my son is currently in his last week of RIP. He made it through week three last time had trouble with the PT test (just a few short on the push-ups, long arms!) He has been reinserted into week 3 for his second attempt and passed the PT test today. Last hurdle, I hope, is the 12 mile march this week. If all goes well, he should graduate RIP on Friday.

I've been reading the posts for a few weeks and finally took the time to join. I look forward to any words of encouragement and support.

Howdy, Mom....not sure what words would encourage you. Lot of kindred folk here, Mom's and such, so Ill leave the hand holding to them.

Your boy has taken on "an adventure". One that should he succeed, will change his outlook, his mind...yes, his soul forever. Yes it will. In return and should he succeed at this endeavor, there will be little doubt in your mind that when times are bad, he is a good one to stand behind. There will be no doubt that he stands amoung a smaller fraternity than any other warrior sect on the planet.

And Mom, should he not reach the goal....you should be proud regardless because he answered the call...now go get your hand held. 8)

If & when he's earned his tan beret, show him how to find this place.
