Hello my son is currently in his last week of RIP. He made it through week three last time, had trouble with the PT test (just a few short on the push-ups, long arms!) and is now in his second attempt. If all goes well he should graduate RIP on Friday.
I've been reading the posts for a few weeks and finally took the time to join. I look forward to any words of encouragement and support.

I understand the long arms thing, they are a curse to anyone attempting to 'break the plane'. I'm glad he got a second chance and shows great character for comimg back to try it again. Many soldiers never get that chance or just say...'screw it, I'll never go back.'
After graduation, I'd love to see your new Ranger make an introduction here as well.
