Introduction
Hey, my name's Jon, I'm a seventeen year old Canadian senior in high school. I have dual citizenship thanks to dad falling for a Canuck while he was visiting up here.
I snowboard, did some boxing and Muay Thai, played football for the team this year, and am getting into Jiu Jitsu soon.
I'm enlisting under an 11x Option 40 contract after I return from three months of traveling post-high school.
My PT scores are poor right now as I'm just lifting weights to get bigger since I want to take up Freestyle Jiu Jitsu within the next month.

Thanks for the site and all the information, Rangers.

Welcome, Jon. A man has only one opportunity to make a favorable initial impression. Yours is mediocre at best. If you truly want to earn a place in the 75th Ranger Regiment, you have come to the right site. We take great pride in the fine young men we have assisted in their quest. For your initial task here, please tell us (in 250 or so words) why you want to serve as a member of the Ranger Regiment. Complete this task by midnight, Thursday, 24 January 2008. Never, never quit!

Ranger Jim:
My desire to be a part of the military was sparked at a young age. Converting golf clubs into M16s and playing with G.I.J.O.E.'s all the time. My parents figured it was just a phase, but I guess they were wrong.
Child's play turned into adolescent fascination with SOF and the like, and I had much admiration for the men that make up the community. I read up on the Rangers a lot, and I learned that the majority are young men, whereas a large portion of SF guys are a bit older. At first I thought it all looked “coolâ€
