We were working a code once where a guy dropped shit-dead on the the spot.. I mean right in mid-step walking through his den. As we were doing CPR, starting IV's, intubating the guy, etc. nobody noticed that his dog (a lab-shepard mix) had crept up on his belly and was nuzzling the guy's hand.. We let out a collective, "Aww, Shit!.."
