Hey Boss, I have something free for you and you don't have to take it; its called "advice"

I was going to mention how you are going to enter a very lucrative career, not to listen to the haters, they don't know how obscene the salary for a nurse can be..($120/hr for critical-care nurse double overtime.. ) I was going to tell you all this and more.

Then I read some of your follow on posts.

Apparently, you could not have researched as well as you say, for your research would have told you there are NO nurse positions in the Ranger Regiment or Special Forces. If a nurse has a long or short Tab, they got it before going to nursing school. Not that uncommon.

It also would appear that you have confused SF with Ranger School and Service in the Regiment. Again, if you have researched a much as you say, you would have known this.

I, for one, don't think you have any idea what you want to do. This is understandable, given your youth.

If you feel some burning need to serve in the military in a Special Operations unit, then by all means do. If you want to be a nurse (a very honorable and necessary endeavor.. ) then go do that. These two paths, however, are not convergent. You will not be able to do both at the same time. I suggest you finish your two years of pre-requisites and then join the military as a Ranger Medic Or Special Forces Medic. Do a little stint at that, then finish your RN if you want.

Just my opinion, but what the hell do I know..
