Shipped off to Iraq?

I used the search button and couldnt find anything on this subject so I thought I"d ask.

If I had an 11 bravo contract with Opt 40 can the Army send me off to Iraq without first getting a chance to complete Airborne school and become a Ranger?

Hopefully that question was worded correctly.

no. with the demand for more Soldiers in the Ranger Regiment, the Army will not cut the pipeline time for reinforcements to a leg unit.

the Army is even giving ABN/RIP as a reenlistment option.some of the people who have reupped under this option have already posted here.
