Good luck DR. I can't wait to see RANGER in front of your name, just like RANGER Morris and RANGER NickyC. Your body can handle anyhting they throw at you, if others can do it, you can too. Forget about quitting.....if it isn't an option, it can't happen! You just DO IT one day at a time and you'll be fine.

Best of luck to you, Devilrat. Stay focused, drink a LOT of water, and never quit. Let us know how it's going. Thanks in advance for your service.

Remember that it will only get harder. When you are getting smoked, just know that it has to end sometime...........maybe not. I wish you the best!!!

devilrat35 wrote:Well, guess the subject pretty much says it all. Ship date's the 20th but I'll actually be gone the 19th, can't fucking wait now that I'm into single digits. Especially since I think my shin splints are pretty much healed up and I can do 75 pushups now instead of a gimpy ass 35. I want to thank all the Rangers on this site for the treasure trove of information, I believe that anyone going in with the intention of becoming a Ranger is well informed in exactly how to do that and how the process works if they have read over this site extensively. If anyone, DEP, Ranger, vet, etc. wants me to write them while I'm in basic just PM your addy and I'll do my best, not guaranteeing anything though since I'm going to be doing extra PT during free time instead of writing letters.
Wow, I can't wait for your name to be added with NIckyC & Morris in RIP graduate section. Good Luck devilrat. Hope to hear only good news from you down the road. Hard Work is the answer. And your lifes dreams will come true.

dead rat how many situps can you do and what are you 2 mile times. Being able to do 75 pushups nows is a good start, I know I had no resource like this when I joined up. I got to basic a skinny little shit. push up whats a push up. You have a good start but yesterday was the only easy day.
