Ah! good ol Grafenvere and hoenfels(the mudpit) It has been a lot of years since that time. We actually buried a howitzer up to the turret( Not sure if that is spelled correctly) It had to be winched out. :lol:

Artillery was pretty cool, but I wish I would have known about Rangers before I enlisted. After I got in, I was locked into 13B because of the bonus. I even tried to give it back so I could try to get into the elite. :roll:

Yeah, I don't think they had Rangers when you enlisted, only been around a cuppla' years now.... :roll: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Hey RTO Ranger,
As far as my recruiter was concerned there were no Rangers.
I learned later on that he had attended Ranger school several times and failed both times. So I believe he was bitter against them.
What he told me was that you had to be an E-4 promotable to even have a chance for Ranger school. He never said anything about RIP, option 40, or anything close to it. :?
