Introduction

Post by pancakes »

Hello Rangers, My name is Alex. I'm currently in DEP for the Nevada National Guard. I'm split training in SMP so assuming all goes well I should recieve my commision in 4 1/2 years, at which time I'll switch to active duty. I lack the color vision to be a U.S Army Ranger, but I look foward to learning what the community can teach me so I can improve my own service."

Welcome to the site. Are you in 'Vegas or somewhere else in Nevada? I was in the 72nd MP's NV National Guard back in the day.

Dear Ranger RTO
I live in Reno, and have my entire life. After basic I'll drill with the 485th MP CO in Fallon. Thank you for taking the time to read my intro.

SMP is a very good program. Not only will you gain experience while completing college and ROTC, but in the end your time in the NG will count towards pay (but not toward retirement). If you attend a state school, SMP is definately the way to go financialy, at least it is here in Texas. Good luck to you cadet, try not to piss your instructor off too bad.

Cash,
You're just mad because it's mid-March and your balls are still frozen from last winter up in Chicago and it was 82 here today :D
