well Rangers, I'm leaving wednsday to head back to Ft. Benning after Christmas exodus. We start week 7 of Osut when we get back.
So far I am loving it. Its still hard to believe I'm actually getting paid to do this stuff. We spent the whole last week before we left for exodus doing special weapons. I had a blast getting to shoot all the machine guns and greanade launchers. So far i think the 240B and the M203 were my favorites. I eneded up getting to shoot 2 boxes of ammo through the 203. that was real cool. firing the 240 at night was pretty cool too. i was in the end of the line right by the ammo shack and the ammo techs gave us all the extra ammo. so we got to shoot alot.
It was nice to get a break form basic but after about 4 days I was wishing i could go back to Benning. I did Home town recruiting and PTed a good bit the whole time i've been here. i am looking forward to getting back soon. i've been pretty bored the whole time i have been home. i guess i got used to doing something all the time.
thank you all for all of the information and support you have given me and i am looking forward to putting on my tan beret and making all of you proud.

Glad to hear yu did not waste the exodus by getting fat and sloppy (like all the other civilians). You know what awaits you -- and you know what you need to do to succeed. Never, never quit!

Keep driving on to the Ranger Objective, the easy part is over, now comes the fun stuff. Just remember feet and knees together, chin on chest.
