Thats more or less what I was going to say.

I have 7 all together, 5 are military oriented. I've been wanting 2 more, one on the inside of each forearm for a very long time, I even have them picked out.

The only reason that I haven't gone below my elbows is that some people in this world will judge you the wrong way because of it. They'll look at the ink and not you.

Everyone has there own opinion, thats the bottom line.

And when I was the Big Sarge in Charge, as long as it didn't break regs, it was tasteful, and it wasn't a Ranger Tab before you earned it, I didn't give a rats ass.

This is a more modern world and if people see that you are squared away and get the job done, then they won't care what you look like.
Your in a gubmint office or supporting the gubmint, that explains a lot....

I know for a fact in the corporate world, most companies will discriminate based on tats and piercings. If you want a professional job... dont do anything that could potentially screw you over in the future.

I will not hire anyone male that has visible piercings or tats. I will not hire females that have more than two piercings in each ear...it used to be two piercings total and only if those are on the ear lobe.

Call it what you want, but in my position with the clients I have, I will not take a chance that this will have an impact on our customer base. You can feel however you want, but there is still a hell of a lot of stigma against tats and piercings.

I personally dont give a crap what someone does with their body and I dont think it has any impact on the potential of an individual, unfortunately I have customers that do think negatively about people who have tats and piercings... that is just a fact of life. I have lost a huge customer when one of our reps was seen outside of work with a tat on her back.... I quote directly "The reason you are losing our business is due to the fact that we do not want to associate ourselves with companies that hire scum" They went on to say specifically that had seen this individual at the beach and she had a tattoo. I'm working in the corporate world with two tats easily visible along the entire length of my inner forearms. Then again, working IT in the Seattle area is kind of different.

If you don't have exposed tats, weird colored hair or piercings, you're kind of in the minority.

The clientel sounds like old-money elitist assholes who think tattooed enlisted soldiers are on par with the sub-human Pelican Bay ocupants. It all sounds like more money than I'll ever be envolved with, which is OK.

Of course she is... and she is hot...LOL No I dont sell bibles either..LOL

It is really rediculous to lose a 300k in profit over a fookin tat seen on a girl at the beach, hell it wasn't even their rep. There are a lot of physicians that look down on it. I also saw the same type of crap when I was in public practice, so I just dont hire folks that have visible tats and excess piercings.
