Just wanted to say hello,
I am a Canadian soldier who just finished class 02-07 roster 297. Its been 3 weeks now and I still cant feel my feet...haha. Well I hope to come here often and talk with others who have been though what i have, as there are not many Canadians who have this course.
I would sit in a trench with an American any day, we both have an enemy on the horizon, and we both share the same burden! So I hope to be there for you as I Know you will be there for me. After I completed this course I know this to be true.

Well the 2nd is in Shilo MB, I am the only one here who will be Ranger Qualified. So theres probably no one here you will know. But I transferd from our paracute company in Edmonton, and that is where the majority of our Rangers are. We have a very small military of course, but someone always seems to know someone else!

I trained with some Canadians that might have been from your unit in Vancouver, WA in the '92-'93 time frame. Some hard core motherfuckers, that's for sure. I think it was some sort of SERE school. All I know is what those boys went thru that week I was there was equal to anything I ever did as a Ranger in intensity.

Well 92-93 a little to early for me...but I think I was still one of the oldest guys on course, 30...wow thats the first time I think being the oldest...there was alot of 19 year old kids from basic officer traing...some did ok but the majority were hammerd by the RIs.
I know there will be alot more Canadians going on course because of the new unit we opend which is supposed to mirrior the Ranger Reg.
