Seal Challenge DEP Intro

Post by SeaManDEP »

My name is Billy. Im from a small town in Oklahoma. I enlisted in the Navy on 11-2-2006. I have a SEAL Challenge contract and ship out on 3-15-2007. I'm 5'10 160lbs and 9 to 10 percent body fat.

October of last year I stumbled onto this site and was really impressed. The more I started to read and learn about your life style the more interested I became. I've put a lot of thought into my decison to join the military and pursue spec-ops but I finally decided on SEALs. I really enjoy the discipline of this site, and that there is no bullshit. I too am a no bullshit kinda guy, I can take constructive criticism and like to be shot straight.

Tonight was the first time in awhile to do push-ups and sit-ups and I have been hit and miss on my running. But in a few weeks those numbers will greatly increase.

Push-ups - 50 (2 mins.)
Sit-ups - 60 (2 mins.)
Running - 13:30 (2-mile)

I know in a few weeks I can shave at least a minute off that run time and in a month I think I can have it in the elevens.

If I have left anything out please let me know.

Why are you here? Why aren't you searching the web for a Seal site to help you? I don't know that you have time to spend here.

Ranger Jim at this moment in time I have found the answers to all my questions about the military and about the SEALs. I enjoy this website and could possibly contribute.

Welcome to ArmyRanger.com

Thanks for signing up to serve our country. Back when I enlisted, it was not possible to get SEAL in your Navy enlistment contract.

Ranger KW Driver I've got the hair gel and can anyone recommend a good tanning oil for when I'm not playing volley ball?
