The Spoon? You should call yourself Soup Spoon. What do you expect from 3rd BN anyway. Oh yea, I want an omelet with everything.

Spoon.........."WTF" dude?

No Soup for you!

The Leg Shavers and Tree Huggers give intros like that, not a Palace Guard.

Show the jealous Bn's what your made of and give that intro another shot.

Don't start another thread, do it in this one.

Welcome.

The Mess Hall at Florida Ranger Camp was just superb -- particularly the morning they brought us in from the last exercise and I knew I would graduate. Welcome...

That's a flashback. For me, it was when I went to jump school straight after hooah school (let the leg Ranger jokes begin...) and had an ice cream in each hand three meals a day.

brand new introduction

Post by the spoon »

Well some of you have said to me that my introduction is a bit weak. Quiet proffesionalism. The spoon that you speak of in such derogatory tones was also Tabbed out, never backed down from a fight or a challenge. ( Ask those who remember the 11B lying on his back 13 seconds after the bell rang during the boxing match.) On the way to the finish line in RIP I met alot 11b going the other way to get on the truck. Unfortunately I never learned how to cook. Couldn't cook worth a shit.

But I did the best I could with the tools I had.

There are also things I regret. To those of you that know me. I ask for your forgiveness. The flesh is strong but the mind weak. As the years go by I feel as if there was unfinished business, things and situations that were regrettable. I'm not the chest thumper type. So that is my introduction. If it's not enough...Well fuck it. I tried.
And I love you all the only way another soldier would love you, thank you for thinking enough of me to give me your best shit and trying so hard to
insult me. I feel like I'm back slinging hash and among friends.

Spoon out.

Brother, nothing said by anyone here was meant in a serious manner. As in Battalion (or RGT), you have to have thick skin to survive. Our humor isn't really all that funny, but it's what bonds us together. Pull up a ruck, you're among Brothers here. It's all good. 8)

Negative. The avatar is perfect love it. As for Ranger Luna. Sgt Wood and SSG Ramey welcomed my cherry ass to Batt. Stuck their foot up my ass and broke it off at the knee. SSG Ramey used to put me in the front leaning rest and as he walked out told me he would call me from Victory Drive to tell me to recover. Sgt. Wood used to throw chunks of dirt at us and tell us they were grenades. Felt like big chunks of dirt to me.
I'm not insulted in the least. I guess now that I've got my boots on the ground, I'll just take a knee, and catch my breath.
