My Introduction
Hello everyone, my name is Jon. I am going to MEPS soon hoping to get my 11x/Option 40 contract.
Welcome.
Your intro is rather weak. It would be a good idea to go read a few DEP intro's to see what we are expecting you to post, then do it again in this thread, "Do not start a new thread!"
You also need to get an avatar from the proper selection.

Sorry for the week introduction. Let me try this again.
My name is Jon, I am 24 years old and currently reside in Wisconsin. I've wanted to join the armed forces since high school, but my family has always been against it. The first time I told my Mom I wanted to enlist, she completley freaked out and refused to talk to me for 3 weeks. So I put the decision on the back burner for a little while, but no matter how much I try I can't stop thinking about it. I've come to realize that I have to do what makes me happy, and I think that the army has what I am looking for. I've been in great shape my whole life, and I am constantly looking for a new and exciting challenge. My recruiter seems to think that my best options are 19d or 11x with option 40.

Jon, a man has only one opportunity to make a favorable initial impression. Sadly, you had to recycle this station -- and you need more work. Please read all the FAQs, most of the stickies, and selected threads. Use the search button to assist you because almost any question you might think of has already been answered at least once. As you progress along, the other DEPs will contact you and assist you along your journey. If you truly desire service with the 75th Ranger Regiment, you came to the right place. Never, never quit!

The reason I joined is because it DID freak her out and shut her the fuck up for...oh lets see....about 6 years....then she died. Worked out well.

I'm not the way I am because I was a Ranger - I was a Ranger because of the way I am.
