First of all, you have no fucking buisness or right, to be calling anyone on this board an idiot!!!!

You obviously need to re-read the FAQs of this board, this if you have read them.

I'm 99.9% sure your question has already been answered. Use the search feature before making an ass outta yourself again.

Damn, son.

You become an primary objective in the amount of time it takes an old man to pop his viagra and climb on his wife for a ride.

Anyway, the answer to your question is here. If you are color-blind you can't be Infantry or most of the MOS's found in the Ranger Regiment for that matter.

Now you may not be able to get an Option 40, but that doesn't mean you can't try anyway.

Just keep what I said in mind while you're at MEPS.

Check your attitude Brian.

You just got here and your getting of on the wrong foot.

There is allot of information readily available to you here, among other things.

If you don't watch the way you speak to Rangers here your stay will be short.

That's funny because I just did a search for color and blind and found a good chunk of useful information. Your question was answered several times in the results.

Thanks for telling me to do it the Ranger way over and over again b/c i finally found all the answers in this post:

http://www.armyranger.com/bb/viewtopic. ... ight=color

It outlines all of the rules on being color blind and also has MOS' that allow you to be color blind and still become a Ranger, even if you have to go through more paper work and what not. After finding this it made me feel a lot better because I know I'm color blind and now I know I can get in.

Thanks to the above Rangers for the much needed "encouragement" and "renforcement" that I could find this post if I looked hard enough.

For what it is worth....

Post by bulldog5 »

I graduated from Ranger School in 1992. I am colorblind. I never lied or misrepresented my vision. I couldn't pass the dot test but I could tell red from green. I never had in problems during my service. Granted I never had to help James Bond cut the green wire but not the red. Most of the stuff you do will be at night and everything will be black or a hazy green.

In the door, if you are the first, he first light is red, when it changes that is green. If you are one of the guys in the back of the stick, don't worry, just go with the flow. If you need to stop the JM will stop you.

There appear to be more chest beaters in here than there where in Oct 1993 in the back of Hummers in the fetal position.

Good Luck
