Introduction
I'm currently a 19 year old Pv2 serving with the Northern Warfare Training Center up in Alaska. I'm only the second private to ever be stationed there so I'm in for a fairly interesting expierience.
I've been reading the forums here at Army Ranger since before I enlisted. Not having a RIP or Airborne contract I chose to merely read and not post since I didn't really have anything to share.
I graduated OSUT April 28th and have been with NWTC for a little over a month now. So far I've had nothing but good things to say about my expierience in the Army, it was definitly the right decision to join.
Thank you Rangers for what you've done and continue to do.

Good ol Greely.
Are you an 11B? Not sure as you didn't specify.
There's (at least there use to be and probably still is) a lot to learn where you are at.
Get your "E" identifier.
Don't know if they still have ACC as a course, but if they do, go for it.
Go to Cool School if the're still running it at Eielson.
Learn TC 90-6-1 inside out.
Lots of stuff ties in solidly as Ranger Skills where you're at.
Think of yourself as being located in an asset rich environment. And take advantage of it. You never know when or where you may be required to draw upon it, having acquired all of the information just waiting for the taking.
Welcome.

Sorry, forgot to put the MOS, yes, I'm 11B.
They only have an ACC course if someone requests it. I believe one of the NCOs said they've had 2 or 3 in the last couple of years.
I'm going through BMC in August, and then the first CWLC in the winter so that should (I think) give me the E identifier.
Btw, NWTC isn't based in Greely (thank God), in 2001 (I think) they moved to Fort Wainwright. Bit of a longer drive to get to the training site but worth it IMO.
