Moly coating is hydro-scopic (?) so that means it pulls in water. As long as you clean immediately after shooting them, they shouldn't harm any barrel. I had good results in .223 from Black Hills. The barrel was FILTHY afterwards though, which was motivation enough not to use them again.

If the cases are thick like 7.62 I can shoot them in my CETME.

I would think that LC Match brass would be the same as 7.62 issue brass. I'll find out for sure. For any who may wonder, the flutes in the G3, CETME,etc. chambers will cause the thinner cased commercial brass to rupture upon extraction.

I had to replace a Sig P228 barrel after shooting moly coated bullets.

I had put about 500 through the gun one day and didnt have time to clean it. Went to clean it the next week and the barrel had a lot of rust and pitting.

The company offered to replace it if they could have it. Called me back stating too much oxygen in the bullet coating process and sent me a knew barrel.

Copper jacket only for me.
