Can I get some information about becoming a Ranger?

Post by Jowens88 »

I’m seventeen and currently a junior in high school going through the split op program. My plans for the future are to become an Army Ranger. I ship out for basic training June 15th come back for my senor year of high school and then I’m going to regular Army. My current MOS is 63B, but when I get back and switch to regular ArmyI’m planning on going Infantry. Can a Ranger please help me get there by giving me tips?

You need to watch your fucking mouth slick.

Remember where your at and why your here.

Show respect where respect is due.

This is our house, "WE" have earned the right to be here "YOU" have not! Your a guest.

You haven't even earned the right to be called a Soldier yet.

As a matter of fact since you haven't earned it, you need to take that Private E-2 out of your sig-line since you haven't even been through Basic yet.

you had four days to learn the rules here between posting fucknuts. I told you to not post again until you found your answer. you failed at that too. as far as I'm concerned you can fuck off. Any help you could have gotten here from us is gone. you need to move the fuck out since we seem to have nothing to offer you.

If you can't even follow simple instructions and show some fucking respect why the fuck should we help you?

You're clearly not going to make it. You're too damn stupid. The sad thing is, you'll probably make it through basic and AIT and pollute some leg unit that doesn't have the luxury of being able to DX your sorry ass.

You're from Oregon and yet you have shown zero respect, neither did you pay any attention to the signature lines of those who responded to you.

Finally you can't take the heat, you more than likely won't make it, you are used to everyone answering questions for you yet you obviously haven't attempted to do any research on this site, because there is a wealth of information on how to prepare, what to expect and how others have failed that have preceeded you.

Some of us who are older and pre-date the internet didn't have much information if ANY prior to volunteering for a Ranger assignment.

The most that we were told when we asked "what's it gonna be like"

Answer: You'll find out when you get there.

Well kid, that's my answer to you. But I doubt you even get passed Airborne School with your shitty attitude.

I hope to God your slug ass isn't from Southern Oregon or I'm really gonna be pissed, but then again I once heard somebody say to me

It ain't where you're from but how you perform where you're AT that makes all the difference. Represent yourself in all endeavors and when its all said and done make sure you know within yourself that your representation was worthy of respect, without you having to tell anybody other than your actions spoke for itself and your words didnt' have to.

But in case you decide to QUIT while you're on your journey, I hope you remmber this post the SECOND BEFORE YOU DO SO!!!
