Hey from TN
Personal Specs:
-Name: Taylor
-Sex:Male
-Age:16
-Location:Tennessee
-Aspirations:I plan to either go into the DEP upon my 17th birthday as 11x with option 40 or plan to send in a WOFT packet and go High-School to Flight School.
-Family History: (Although I know this has nothing to do with me as a person or my accomplishments I thought you guys might want to know anyway. Better safe than sorry)
-Father was Airborne (gaggin' dragon)
-Uncle was Airborne and Air-assault qualified 11b
-Other uncle flys an Apache for the NG
-Grandfather was NG (don't know too much about what he did, combat
engineer I think, but don't hold me to that)
-Great-Grandfather served in WW2 as a Black Panther. Leupoldville
survivor. His brother was Navy in WW2 and his brother-in-law was an
AF tailgunner I was told. (I loved him to death, but he died when I
was 7 or 8 so I never got to talk about it with him)
If I left anything out just ask.

Welcome, Taylor, you provided an acceptable introduction. While I think you are aware of my admonitions to read the FAQs, stickies, and selected threads, you may not be aware that while it is interesting that you know who your family is, it will not help you in the Ranger world. Here, your achievements are based on what you do -- not who daddy is. On the other hand, if you work hard and succeed, you have the quiet satisfaction of knowing that the reason was your efforts, and yours alone. Never, never quit.

Yes sirs, I posted the little disclaimer because I didn't want you to think I was wanting an easy break or anything. I just posted it because I thought you guys might be interested. Thanks for the welcomes and I'll take all of your advise to heart.

p.s.- I read all of the faq's and threads I could find before I posted my intro. If I hadn't have I probably wouldn't be posting another reply to this thread, I'd probably be flamed off. I almost forgot my avitar.
