Dumbass: no there's no room in the actual ranger school. i wanted to stick with my job. so i told them i'd wait

Me: you cant go to ranger school until youve beein in batallion for a while tho
Dumbass: you're supposed to go right after basic and iet if you have a ranger contract
Me: they dont send you to ranger school until they think your ready. It could take up to a year until you can go
Dumbass: you must have misunderstood something

Me: no cuz after ait, you go to airborne school
Me: so your tellin me your gonna go to airborne, then right after airborne go straight into ranger school

Me: have you ever been stationed at any of the 3 batallions?
Dumbass: nope
Me: then thats not possible
Me: they wont send you to ranger school without being in batallion first
Dumbass: you dont get stationed there unless you're already a ranger
Me: how are they gonna know if your ready
