Hello everyone and to all Rangers on this site I salute the courage and sacrifice you display everyday. It is my hope that I will soon join your ranks in the greatest brotherhood in the world, that of being a United States Army Ranger Hooah!
My name is Scott and I am 27 years old. I am currently in college and will join the Army in the summer. I want to join with a Ranger contract and hope to make it all the way.
I am not trying to brownnose in anyway but I believe that the Rangers will challenge me in everyway and make me a better man and I look forward to serving with the best the United States military has to offer.

You better believe it.
I too was 27 when I joined. Volunteering for Ranger was the best thing I EVER did.
Welcome to the site.
Use it well.

Man Harris you got in the way -- that was going to be a good one
.
BTW Sir is used with officers only (most enlisted that I served with consider the term an insult).
American History is my minor with a concentration in Southern American History. Thanks for the response.
