So...given an educated and accurate guess you are obviously fucking stupid since you linked us to that piss-puddle anyway.DirtyBlackSocks wrote:Ranger Kilted Heathen, my best guess would be that douche bags like this defame the true warriors willing to put their lives on the line and be the baddest of the bad.Kilted Heathen wrote:Do you know why?

Delete you "MySpace" presence. It's not a place soldiers should be.
WE NEED MORE RANGERS!

Ranger Ranger Bill, noted. With all due respect I have found other combat medics through it who have helped mentor and prepare me for the life I have chosen to lead. Perhaps when I am a soldier I'll think differently on the issue, but it has been a good source of inspiration for me.Ranger Bill wrote:Delete you "MySpace" presence. Ranger PaperStreet 2/75 I mean no disrespect and I'm sorry if I've offended any of the Rangers on this board. I'm fully aware that I'm a guest of this board and will do my best to treat you with the respect you deserve.PaperStreet 2/75 wrote:SWEET MOTHER OF GOD! You don't fucking belong here! And don't ever say 'with all due respect' to a Ranger until you are one. That is the phrase I use when I want to tell someone to go fuck themselves!![]()
As for the rest of your intro...
So why didn't you get an Opt 40 contract? I believe this is available for medics, but I may be wrong. Someone correct me if I am.I joined the Army for a lot of reasons but mainly to sum it up I was looking for a challenge and discipline in my life both physically and mentally.
No one here cares what you considered. Some of us may be curious about the 'various reasons' wording however. While I have no option for ranger in my contract for various reasons it's somthing I've considered very seriously for a while now.
I don't know anyone who got Air Assault without going to their unit first. Same for Ranger School.I am going airborne and air assault after my AIT (or doing my best to secure a slot for air assault), hopefully I have a firm decision of where I'd like to go with ranger school from there.
Personal problems have kept me from the Opt 40 contract and I will have to earn a slot in ranger school on merrit and recommendations. It's a long shot but somthing I'm willing to work for.
