Over there

Post by Southern_Brit »

Just watching TV and turned over and caught 'Over There'.
I'm not sure how old it is and when it was first aired in the US but it was the first showing today and the last for me.

What a pile of shit!

Did they have any military advisers?

Looks like another Hollywood fuck up.

How did it go in the US and with the members here?

Think I'll give it a miss.

It was a psuedo-drama of a unit of soldiers experience while in Iraq. It also had all of the worst things that could be happening to them on the home front happening.

It was a highly unrealistic piece of garbage that was touted by the most liberal papers in America as being "the real thing".

To say it was vomitous would be generous.

Gratefully it is dead now it the States. Sorry Brit.

I wondered what happened to the show. I saw one show -it was so full of military stereotypes I turned it off. I'm glad to hear it's not coming back. Good riddance....
