Know any Polacks?
Three men coming from different parts converge and meet in the middle of the Gobi desert. They introduce themselves to each other. Turn out there is an Irishman, An Englishman and a Polishman. The Englishman says to the Irishman, "I see you are carrying Irish bread. Good idea in case you get hungry." The Irishman says to the Englishman, "I see you are carrying a flask. Good idea. What is in your flask?" The Englishman says, "I have tea in my flask. In case I get thirsty." They both turn to the Polishman and ask him together, "Why are you carrying a car door?" The Polishman says, I can roll down the windows if it gets too hot out here."

The French Gillotine
During the 1780's I think, the French were having their own revolt. It is the time Les Miserables was. the French celebrate Bastille Day. That is the day all of the Aristocracy was overthrown. The common people took over. Many of the French Nobleman and Noblewoman lost their heads to the Gillotine (pronounced gee-o-teen) including the King and Queen. The following day The new leaders were going to execute the common criminal that had crowded their prisons. This is where my story begins. The first cell was emptied and each prisoner had their head chopped off. The second cell was opened and the 1st three prisoners were an Atalian, A Frenchman and a Polishman. The Atalian is led up the stairs and knelt down and his head was bent forward with another piece of wood holding his head immobile. The Executioner pulled the rope releasing the gee-o-teen Blade. It made it whoooshing sound as it rattled the wood on the way down and suddenly stopped inches form the Atalians neck. The blade is secured by the Executioner and the Prison Capt comes over and says, "Release this man. This must be an act of God". They untie the Atalian and he scurries off into the crowd and vanishes. The Executioner test out the Gee-o-teen several times and tells the Capt. he is ready for the next victim. The Frenchman is led up the stairs and his head is placed in the vise that holds his head. The executioner pulls the rope and Whooooosh the blade rushes down rattling the wood and it suddenly stops inches from the Frenchman's neck. the blade is secured by the Executioner and the Prison Capt says, "Another act of God, Release this man." The Frenchman is untied and released and he scurries into the crowd and vanishes. The Polishman is lead up the stairs and he ressists. the Prison Capt comes forward and says, "You are ressisting?" the Polishman says, "I ain't sticking my head into anything that is broken. I will wait until you fix that thing."
