Ahhh.....Noble Hill. I remember it fondly....Many a day (and night) as a young private did I sit and dig on that hill. One MRE every 8 hrs. and a full canteen was thrown over the fence every hour... an "underground Hilton" as I recall is what I was instructed to build...."Dig! Seven days!" Along with p/u's and flutter kicks, I fell in love with that old hill.....

We used to sprint that side of the hill too after running the horn, those fuckers (rocks) would git ya if you're not careful.
Someday I'll get back there to visit, and run that damn hill one more time.

i also searved in the alphabuts , [the black sheep] with crash conrad. in 1978-80. and did hooah school in 5-79. anybody remember a brad james, him paul roof [dead ] and leo wisniski .were pals allways getting into trouble .
any hooahs out there who were in bn. that remember any of those guys give me a shout as i,d loue to get together with then again.
i know brad and ski both live or lived in california.

Ok, I've got got a question for the alphabots - I'm getting the impression from several signatures I've seen that 3rd plt, A 2/75 were called the "Earthpigs" at one point. This must have started some time after I left, as I don't remember it. I do vaguely recall that we were sometimes referred to as "third herd". When did "Earthpigs" start and what's the story behind it?

Incidentally, I was in the last room on the right after you take the left at the T in the hall (the room was on the side of the barracks facing Noble Hill). Anyone else here that bunked in that room? Was the "HOOAH" sign still next to the door on the inside of the room? Hehe, for all I remember now, all the rooms could have had "HOOAH" signs next to the door....
