Working through injuries/pain.

Post by BadMuther »

Like most of you, I have a few injuries left from my Ranger days. In the past, if I worked out and it hurt bad the next day, I'd take a rest day.

Since I have been down in NOLA, I've been running and lifting 5-6 days a week. I've found that when I'm hurting the best medicine is to go workout. In fact it seems my body hurts worse when I'm not working out.

A good run always seems to fix my back when it's jacked up.

Just curious if you guys have experienced similiar results.

The fact that you are doing PT without some kicking your ass around the horn is funny to me.

I run slower then ever now. Back then I was still faster then Chang, but damn near the slowest in our squad! 12:23 was my fastest 2 miler. "C" was a fast mofo, didn't he do like a 4something mile? I actually did harder runs down at LRS (hills and distance).

I always hated running and swore I'd never due it again unless it was a necessity. But now it's different-only way to keep my girlish figure.

A wounded water buffaloe was faster than Chang.
