Introducing Fred The Rock

Post by FredTheRock »

I have been sitting in my OP for the last few months just reading the posts. I thought I would finally make my introduction. I got to A Co 1/75 in June 1996 where I was assigned to 3rd Plt Weapons Squad. We had the privelege of caring for the platoon mascot Fred The Rock. Has anyone seen him? After an untimely injury (thanks Mike) I was sent to HQ Co Headquarters Command 3rd ID in March 0f 97 to continue my physical therapy. It was during that assignment when I got levied for Korea. I went to Korea where I was stationed at Camp Greaves in B Co (Bushmasters)1st Bn 506 Inf AASLT. I worked for an outstanding Co Commander who was a prior 2nd Batt Wpns PL which made my time in Korea enjoyable. Regretably, even to this day, due to my injury I never got my shit. I ETS'd from Korea in 1999. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all current and former Rangers and your families. RLTW
