Interesting Ranger-related post on another website.

Post by Adam81 »

There is an entire thread of discussion on a website related to mixed-martial-arts (aka no holds barred, cagefighting, UFC) that I thought might be of interest to our Rangers. The website is www.mma.tv and the thread was started in a section of the page that deals with discussion unrelated to fighting. I'll post a direct link to the thread below. If you want to post a reply (and I think some of you will) you'll have to register with the site. Don't worry, its fast and its free.

http://www.mma.tv/TUF/index.cfm?ac=List ... 8155&FID=2

Sorry, but you'll have to copy and paste the link because I don't know how to creae a direct link.

You may find the rest of the site interesting if you'tr into the UFC.

Hold on now guys, did you read the entire thread or just the first page? I posted it because a few pages into the thread some members begin to tear down Ranger training and there are only a few Rangers on that site who were defending the Regiment. In fact, our site was mentioned as a no BS place for people legitimately interested in learning about Ranger training by a some Rangers who are obviously members of both pages.

But, if you already recognized all of that and still think posted the gayest link ever, how long does my avatar sentence last?

If you guys truly want to learn more on what it takes to be a Ranger and get in to a Ranger Unit

go to

armyranger.com

plenty of REAL RANGERS on that website

They dont put up with shit on that website, make sure you Read the Faqs before you regsister and dont be a dumbass your u will get banned pretty quick.

If your serious go there, and you can converse with Rangers and even get a mentor, and they will help you and let u know what it takes.

After reading two pages of this bullshit I felt like smashing my powerbook. But then I realized that you have already been punished - not enough, but enough to sorta amuse us....

I hope not because of something I did. I was only bringing it to your attention because I thought you might like to respond to some on the anti-Ranger BS that was being posted!
