SITREP

Post by Barrett88 »

Well, I turned blue last Thursday and graduated on Friday which was pretty kickass. I got lucky enough to be sent to Main Post straight to Airborne hold. We report back in Tuesday and have only a few days of hold before we in process on Friday. I missed Company honor grad because of my marksmanship scores but I still got platoon honor grad which was pretty cool. This week me and a few of my buddies going to RIP are going to PT our asses off because the last few weeks of basic such as FTX and that shitty recovery week we did very little if any PT at all. I hear airborne PT isnt that bad so we made a program that we will follow to keep in shape for RIP. Im highly motivated and ready to start airborne and RIP along with most of my buddies. Well I gotta go Ill post again as soon as I can.

Wait a second...You didn't get honor grad because your shooting sucks? What's the world coming to?

Seriously...good job and good luck!

Good advice to you Barrett88. This Ranger knows what he is talking about.

Congrats on getting your Blue Cord Trooper.
