Wow, well, I guess I made an ass of myself. I just read the Intro FAQs and realized that I screwed myself. Well, humility never killed anyone, and it's the best way to learn and make sure you remember for a time to come.

Also I realized I'm not welcome to post here, so I shall refrain from doing so unless I've gotten my act together.

Thanks for serving our country.

JBrehm wrote:Argh, sorry guys, I just had a really bad fight with a close friend and I guess I was taking it out on here (hey, never said I was army or ranger material *just* yet). Also I just saw some Christianity discrimination on here right after the fight and I don't know how but I guess it sort of fired my anger up more. My apologies. Let me try to restate what I meant to write but didn't succeed in doing so nearly so well as I had hoped...

How's it goin everyone,

My name's Josh, I'm 17 years old, live in Dallas, OR.

Just wanted to introduce myself on here cause I'm going to be reading/researching a lot due to my desire for a military cereer or at least experience. And just so you guys who have been here for a while don't get annoyed that another newbie has joined the forums and is going to ask a bunch of stupid questions that could have been answered if that person just looked it up using the search function, thats not how I work.

That's basically what I was trying to say in too many words. And now that I read it, most of that didn't need to be said anyway, so, you guys can just ignore it. The point of this is, I wanted to introduce myself and hopefully I can gain a lot of information from you men and women that will prove valuable in helping me make decision involving my military career. Thanks, and again, I'm sorry for my horrible attitude earlier.
You need to learn to control and focus what ever anger you have in the right direction.

As for anything you may have read, that doesnt matter. Thats a totally different subject that you dont know all the details of.

And as for "how you work!"........That doesnt matter here at all. This is our house and "we dont work that way!" If you want something from us YOU will work for it by using the search button!!!

99.9% of what you will need to or would like to know has been answered. All you have to do is look for it and not waste our time having to answer it again.

Our House our Rules, remember that.

Introduction- Josh

Post by JBrehm »

Hello,

My name is Josh, I'm 17 years old. I am homeschooled, and I'm a junior in high school. I'm interested in an Army and possibly Ranger career due to my grandfather was a Judge in the Army and I believe he was also Airborne if not a Ranger also. I am uncertain as to what exactly I want to do in the Army, but that is why I'm here, and I hope I may learn from all that has been said in the archives, and I will do my best to follow all directions given me here.

Sincerely,
JBrehm

You are indeed fortunate that a number of our more aggressive members have been deployed in the defense of freedom. However, I would caution that you need to STFU and read, study, and PM other DEPs before you dig yourself off this site.
