Introduction- Mary
Hey Rangers- my name is Mary, I'm from Chicago, IL. My boyfriend left for the Army a few weeks ago, in hopes of becoming a Ranger. I haven't had much contact with him- he has no return address yet. I had a couple of questions about how reception and other stuff before basic training works. I'd really appreciate any info you guys could give me.

Commonly asked questions:
1. Will he be the same when he gets done with Basic: Hair will be shorter and his appreciation of women will increase dramatically.
2. Will he be the same IF he becomes a Ranger: Yes, except he will have strong opinions, eat anything that moves or doesnt move and his appreciation for women will double that of when he came back from basic.
3. But, will he still be the same boy I knew down deep: No. He will speak in terms you have never heard, his use of profanity will become an art form, he will love shooting stuff....anything....2 or 4 legged and he will probably be a man. The results are impressive.
