Bruce Springsteen ~ I'm on fire

Metallica ~ Nothing else Matters
I remember back in 1982, a neighbor next door, Raymond was exclaiming to me, "My teenagers are driving me nuts listening to that marble-mouth talking Bruce Springsteen. I tell ya Steadfast I hate that guy. I can't wait for him to fade away like so many other artists." I said something like, "er Raymond, I've been listening to Bruce for more than 6 years now. His popularity jes keeps on growing. Bruce doesn't seem like he is fading but increasing instead." I don't think I helped Raymond much that day other than to educate him that he was doomed to listen to Bruce unless he got his kids to switch to Pink Floyd.

I listen to Flogging Molly as well. Plus some Nickelback, Metallica, Seether, and a bunch of old school rock bands like Guns n' Roses, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink Flloyd, etc.

Sneakers Soundtrack, and the More Music from Braveheart one 8)

"The trouble with Scotland is that it's full of Scots" is on it :)

And this line...

"I AM William Wallace, and I see a whole army of my countrymen, here in defiance of tyranny. You've come to fight as free men, and free men you are. What will you do with that freedom? Will you fight?"

"Fight? Against that? No! We will run! and we will live." (a peasant speaks)

"Aye. Fight, and you may die. Run, and you'll live... at least a while. And dying in your beds, many years from now, would you be willing to trade all the days, from this day to that, for one chance, JUST ONE CHANCE, to come back here and tell our enemies that they may take our lives, but they will NEVER take our freedom!"
Reverend Mother of the Church of The Yellow River

The ultimate effect of shielding men from the effects of folly, is to fill the world with fools.

Yesterday we were in the car and CCR came on the radio. My 15 month old little girl started clapping and giggling. She loved it and stopped as soon as the song ended.
