Introducing...Me.

Post by benningbabe »

Hello, my name is Marie. I graduated highschool this year with an advanced diploma (basically, I worked really hard for a seal, if you will...?). I was originally scheduled to leave for University of Utah to obtain my four year degree in Mechanical Engineering, while in the Air Force ROTC. Due to family issues, I have recently decided to attend Columbus State University for a year, in hopes to earn an Army ROTC scholarship. I'm interested in flying and maintaining Blackhawks. Why Blackhawks? The only answer I truly have is, because women are not allowed to fly the Apache. I will cut all the chatter about myself to a minimum- I hope to attend college, after a year, as far West as I possibly can.

My reasoning for being here is strictly to learn. Every officer should obtain knowledge about his or her branch. I hope to do that. And there's no better way to learn about a career path than learning from the people who do it each and everyday themselves. I was referred here by Disinfertention. Also, I'm currently waiting for Kyle, a current Ranger, to return home safely. Once he returns, I believe this strange 'mad at the world' attitude will suddenly cease.

That is my introduction. Thank you. And yes, I attached a picture. If I was not allowed to do so, tell me... Sorry!

Welcome to the Site,

Make sure you address all Rangers on the board as Ranger Disinfertention for instance. I am sure you will get some PM's here in the next couple of hours. Listen to their advice, the ladies have been here for a while.

You will take a special test your third year of ROTC to test your aptitude for Aviation branch. That test result will help determine if you get that branch when the branch board convenes your senior year.
