Over There
Is this TV show airing and if so, how accurate is it?
I saw an article about it in Army Times and I was curious to hear if it was any good.

The reviews I have heard are liberal horseshit. Sounds like someone watched Full Metal Jacket first.
I have it TiVo'd. Will watch it this weekend and decide myself.

Please read the original question and then immediately close your mouth. It appears to me that the person originating the thread was interested in a comparison of the "Real" war against the "War" being shown on TV. At no time did he ask for your fucking opinion of TV shows.

LOL Agreed, but it sure as hell seems like slow motion when you've got rockets smacking up against your hooch...

Mortars are the "Time Slower downers" that I came to dislike. The rockets never bothered me too much.B 2/75 wrote:Silverback wrote:In my experience war is a lot less dramatic than it is portrayed on TV, People don't die in slow motion.
