They're just being nice as you posted your intro in the midst of a bunch of retarded fucking asses posting theirs...

So, yours was just barely acceptable. Not good, not even ok as I would note, what the fuck do you mean you're going to "try" to get an 11x Opt. 40? Just fucking do it!!! Don't fail yourself. If you want it, do it!!! Shit.

I will make note that I appreciated the sentiment of thanks for my Brother's service... That's always good to see.

Thanks for the welcome-

Sister Ardent Lady, I have no intention of signing any papers without the option 40. I have read enough posts to understand that you never give in to recruiters, and I will not sign anything but an option 40. Thanks for the advice.

Veteran Manchuleg, Did you enjoy your time at Fort Ord, Carmel and that area is a very nice place. I actually go to college in California, it just that my partent live in Minnesota now, so i spend the summers there.

Soldier Usaftacp (not exactly sure how to address you),
When I said try 'to get an option 40', I was trying to convey that it is not easy to get one, and did not want to come off like I would just walk in get an option 40 and its that easy. I believe I will obtain an option 40, and i will not take anything less.

Well, you have obviously impressed the shit out of everyone here with one cantankerous exception. (Just call him Sir. He likes that. Or God of the Air. He likes that better) Your intro showed that you read what the other dumbasses did and making a wise and informed decision, you went the other way. Personally, Ill give you a B-. Aweful lot of sucking up in that opening salvo but...seemed to work on some of these guys.  Drive on young man.
