I saw a porn movie once before.

Totally agree. This one and "Deep Throat" are the ultimate 70's porn movies.

That is one of the best scenes in history!

War of the World's with Tom Cruise... I'd recommend checking it out if you will be at the movies any time soon. The effects were well done. Usually you expect a little more "energy" from Spielberg films, but I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10.

Captain Courageous with Spencer Tracy - a Hemingway classic.

African Queen with Humphrey Bogart and Katherine Hepburn

Bridge over the River Kwai with Alec Guinness

Silverback, Spartan, I saw that Ivory girl ( Marlyin Chambers) with her picture on the box of Ivory soap starring in that porn movie - Behind the green door. Ivory soap was aghast.

Funny story was that Screen Star Rock Hudson was gay. His partner was Jim Neighbors of Gomer Pyle - USMC fame. The story goes that as Rock Hudson dying from aids, (sic, he) was able to get back on his knees in his hospital bed one more time for Jim Neighbors before he died. What are friends for?

The African Queen has been my favorite since I was a child. Great flick. I have worn out 3 VHS copies.

The Great Raid

It hasn't come out yet, but I just saw the previews. It look's like it'll be very good.

"Set in the Philippines in 1945, THE GREAT RAID tells the true story of the 6th Ranger Battalion, under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Henry Mucci (Benjamin Bratt) who undertake a daring rescue mission against all odds. Traveling thirty miles behind enemy lines, the 6th Ranger Battalion aims to liberate over 500 American prisoners-of-war from the notorious Cabanatuan Japanese POW camp in the most audacious rescue ever."

Did anyone else have a "what the fuck?" look on their face at the end of 'War of the Worlds', or was it just me?
