Turning Blue

Post by MAB78 »

Hey Everybody

I just wanted to let you know I got my blue cord today and graduation is tommorow. I will be graduating at Kannel Field at Battalion 2-19 at 0900. It was a good feeling to become an Infantryman and im motivated about BAC starting Monday. Im trying to work on my run times especially since I can work out on my own in the evenings and weekends. The only time I was able to post online was during my pass I used the computer lab at the PX to check in. Thanks for all the support it just fuels my effort of getting that scroll and beret when I get the oppurtunity. Ranger Silverback I got my orders for BAC which has all my info so after I check in at BAC ill email you. Ill be able to get online alot more now so ill be around again.

Remeber what you want. Don't let your standards or morals drop in ABN school. It is easy to slack and party. Remember your Goal. Iron Clad discipline and plenty of Intestinal fortitude will never do you wrong. Do what is right and never violate the standards or "rules". Remember some things are going to suck, learn to embrace "the suck" and drive on thru it with initiative and a positive mental attitude. RIP is going to seriously challenge your body and your mind as well. Good luck son.
