I ride quite a bit but wouldn’t say as I qualify for the term horseman yet. I have heard about the Aztecas, nice horses. Right now I have a Friesian cross in the oven that may hit the ground tonight. Seem to have acquired a herd here over the last few years. Here on the place I have an Appy mare, percheron/mustang cross, a big percheron that is finishing up his 60 days, an Appy mule, and a my crazy mare that is bred to the Friesian. There are pics scattered around the forum.

I looked into the jousting (like these knuckleheads http://freelancers.faire.net/index.html) but a lot of money and the #1 issue is I don’t bounce anymore when I hit the ground. So trail riding, endurance riding when I have time to prep the horse and hopefully this summer will get back into the mounted shooting.

Are you the same borebrush on the badlands forum?

Did you know that Michelle, M1 over at the badlands knows quite a few in the jousting world. She used to squire for Tournament Joust and stuff. Pretty crazy chicka.

Freesians are awesome. I worked with a few at the castle before I left, beautiful animals. Sounds like you have a pretty sweet hookup. Best of luck with the jousting, man it really is addictive. My buddies and I cant watch Knights Tale without getting all fired up during the joust scenes. Its a most primal rush dude, and its even better when you get paid. One of the knights i worked with started out in full contact, so Ive learned quite a bit about that lifestyle from him. Basically a Woodstock/Knock the shit outta each other, type of deal.
Same name over there, I don’t post too much over there, met Mick and the crew briefly in 2000 up in Phoenix through a mutual friend, other than that don’t know anyone over there.
