A Coasties Intro

Post by chuchurokit »

Hello, I am 20, currently a Petty Officer serving in the US Coast Guard(that means a NCO to you depers) I am thinking about switching to the Army once my time is up in the CG, but if I do I will be sure to get the option 40. I guess I would like more "action" and more brotherhood like I see on this site.

If you have any questions feel free to drop me a line.

this website is put together really well!

Welcome & thank you for your service Coastie.

Fleet week is coming up this month, 25th May. An individual can view the parade of ships into NY harbor led by a Coast Guard vessel past our local Fort Hamilton on the Verrazzano Narrows is selling this (to members only, not for the public):

Welcome. Interesting question snafu - being that the Coast Guard doesn't fall under DOD (it falls under Department of Transportation) is service there considered prior service in this instance? Hmmmm....
